March 26, 2014 Post Production – Selecting Sample Images

Sample Images appear on the Members News Page of the site. They are selected to show the breadth and depth of our content, encouraging people to engage with the site more, and to subscribe or remain subscribed. Sample Images’ selection is of critical importance to the success of the website.

Sample Images are selected in isolation from each other (as part of the Post Production workflow for each shoot’s video and stills), but are only, ever consumed in quantity by customers. Thus, variety between Sample Images is important.

Sample images are selected by different people in the business. Each role has different requirements that must be attained before consuming this SDLP.

  • Image Processor: Fundamentals; Image Editing; Image Processing; technical shoot requirements; solo shoot areas.
  • Video Editor: Video Editing; Fundamentals; technical shoot requirements; solo shoot areas.
  • Imageset Reviewer: All shooter SDLP’s; Image Processing; Image Editing
  • Content Administrator: Content Administrator training; Solo shoot assessment areas; Fundamentals.
